Banana-Fig-Blueberry Oat Bran

A mouthful isn’t it??  That is exactly what it was…a delicious mouthful of fruity flavors all rolled up into one little bowl of oat bran.  In the mix:

  • 1/2 c soy milk + 1/2 c water
  • 1/3 c oat bran
  • 1/2 mashed banana (added in when bran was almost cooked)
  • 1 egg white (added in when bran was almost cooked)
  • cinnamon
  • 3 figs cut up into little pieces
  • blueberries
  • almond butter blob

It sounds like a lot, but it was so satisfying and a good amount of fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

It’s in there I promise.  Every bite was different…

Can you tell I save the best (almond butter) for last?

Going to get ready for my first barre class this morning!  I’ll let you know how it goes!
